My education is in Industrial design, where I learned to understand users and design solutions to fit their needs. In my UX career, I have carried this approach forwards and fallen in love with digging into the weeds of complex systems and domains to understand users real needs and ensure solutions are delivered that work for them. I have worked on projects ranging from a broad, sweeping, collaborative tool suite tracking data from conception through collection, delivery, and analysis, to a tool built for the maintenance and operation of aircraft.

When not diving into complex domains and managing design systems, I like to explore nature, art, and other areas of design. You can usually find me either on a hike, climbing, or making something, whether it’s theatrical sets, knitting, making furniture, or whatever new hobby I’ve picked up recently.
